For Lighting Designers & VJs

Level-up your visuals for music events

Whether you plan to use Arcane alongside your usual busking setup, or want to speed up timecode programming, Arcane is here to help.

More than a Waveform

A waveform only tells you so much about a song. With Arcane, you can see every important element of a track, including rapid drum patterns, other melodic elements.

Arcane can connect to Pioneer DJ equipment via either ShowKontrol or Pro DJ Link Bridge.

Link what you want, busk the rest!

Want a lighting fixture or visual layer to precisely track an element of the song? Simply link it to the track with one click live!

You can control any parameter for any compatible external light console or VJ software via OSC or DMX.

The rest of your workflow remains unchanged, so you can busk alongside whatever Arcane is controlling.

How it works in practice

Step 1

Spell files are created and shared

The original music producer, DJ or anyone in production creates one or more spell files for tracks that will be played.

These spell files are shared with the FoH team, who can load them into Arcane.

Step 2

Spell files are matched live

Arcane is connected to DJ Equipment via ShowKontrol or Pro DJ Link Bridge.

As tracks are loaded into the decks on stage, Arcane matches the metadata to known spells.

Step 3

Link & Busk!

You can then choose to link different layers of a track to configured OSC & DMX outputs.

No spell found? No problem! You can still busk as normal.
