CLX
This input implements CLX, allowing you to receive timecode from either:
- Standalone DJ equipment such as Pioneer DJ or Denon DJ equipment, via applications such as Clockworks Gateway.
- DJ Software such as Serato, Traktor or VirtualDJ, via applications such as Clockworks Server.
We're still in the process of fleshing-out this page. In the meantime if you have any questions, you can join the official discord and ask them there!
Please see our detailed documentation of CLX for more information about the protocol itself, and other applications that support it.
Multiple Streams
Given that CLX supports multiple timecode signals (one for each deck), this timecode input will behave differently to single-stream inputs such as Art-Net Timecode or LTC.
As soon as information about multiple streams is received from the network, each stream will appear as its own input, that can be independently monitored, and linked with outputs.
Each of these inputs will have a separate settings
button
, however the settings
for each separate stream are the same, and changing the settings for one stream
will change them for all streams.
There is currently no way to link a single output to multiple input streams (for example to auto-switch the master based on fader levels), but this is something we are looking into for a future release.
